 Hi reader!

Saint Gianna Beretta Molla.

Story behind St. Gianna

Gianna Beretta Molla (4 October 1922 - 28 April 1962) was a Roman Catholic pediatric physician, a wife, a mother, in less than 40 years. She was born in Milano, Italy. She was an active member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society and a leader in the Catholic Action movement, also enjoyed skiing and mountain climbing. She earned degrees in medicine and surgery from the University of Pavia. She started her marriage life in 1955. Before her marriage she wrote to Pietro: "Love is the most beautiful sentiment that the lord has put into the soul of men and women." She had three children. Early in her final pregnancy, doctors discovered that Gianna had both a child and a tumor in her uterus. She allowed the surgeons to remove the tumor but not to perform the complete hysterectomy that they recommended, which would have killed the child. Seven months later in April 1962, She gave birth to her daughter. The following week Gianna Molla died at home. Gianna's beatification was celebrated in 1994 and she was canonized as a saint a decade later in mid-2004 in Saint Peter's Square.

In last few days I did a statue about 1 1/2 feet. I created the Sri Lankan very first statue of St. Gianna Beretta Molla.

I used modeling clay to built up and took a plaster mold.

I spent last month for the project. Successfully I did my best.

Thank you so much for reading.

Hi everyone, How is life? Hope you are keeping well.

As a visual art student I have to study human figures. Such as anatomy, muscles, movements, proportions and weight act. So I practice sketches and 3D modeling.

Here is a sculpture, I did this to study female body. 1 1/2 in Hight. Final sculpture in sand was created in modelling clay and cast in clear sand.

I did it in year 2017. I took much time to study female body shape. However 2017 was a year that saved me a lot to learn. My memory runs back and takes me to the past. I wish I could go back to that time.😇

Thank you reader.

Hey there...

A night suit should be more comfortable. Must be easy to wear.
I design a night suit with a small top and a short. I used viscose fabric to sew it. Viscose is a comfortable fabric to wear.

Isn't it lovely?

What ever you do, make a good quality. I'm so exited to wear my night suit.
If you want to get the block, leave me a message. I'll arrange it.

Thank you guys for reading... Goodbye...👋

Hey guys! Hope you all doing well...

I am a fashion lover. I try new fashion styles. I love to wear which I sewed.

Today I brought round skirt patter. It also called as 'circle skirt'.

So, what is a round/circle skirt?

  • Circle skirt is basically a skirt that have a circle shape.

I used 2.5 yards from black linen fabric.

I will be show you guys tips to make this skirt. It's really easy to make.

  • The next thing, you want to do is cutting the fabric.
  • Turn your fabric in to two layers.
  • Mark your radius & the length.
  • Cut it off.
  • Now you can finish your open by using buttons.
  • Attach the waist band.

Fine, that's the end of my circle skirt and ready to wear.

So, thank you very much for joining me.

Hello Reader !

Today I brought a conceptual sculpture.

Concept:

The main image here is a woman's body with a snake's bottom. Bird feathers have also been used in this design. Feelings of pain and hatred emanate from a woman bound in chains. I tried to portray motherhood and prosperity in a woman's full body. The little squirrels and dolphins shown here show their innocence and how they drink milk from the woman. Here, society is addressed as a society that hurts and hates a mother, as demonstrated by her chained.

The way society defines a woman, however, is that it is not an obstacle to maternal love, as is the case here with the innocent pet sucking milk from a mother full of pain and hatred.

Thank you for reading.

 Hey everyone,

Make your wardrobe come alive!

Batik is commonly used to describe a fabric dyeing process that utilizes a special resist method.

The history behind it:

Indonesia, Africa, China, Middle East, Philippines, Thailand, India and Sri Lanka are some of the developed countries in the field of batik. Batik art was introduced to Sri Lanka between 1950-1952 by Mrs. Soma Udabage. She also studied the art of batik while studying art and sculpture at the 'Shanti Niketan' in India.

The batik fabric has grown to become quite popular all over the world, specially in Asian countries. Batik fabrics enjoy a high demand in the global fashion industry. Modern batik fabrics take much inspiration from the past, they have very few similarities with the traditional styles.

There are several batik dyeing techniques. I simply explain you, first of all you must plan your design on the fabric. Cover the design by using hot wax. Apply dye with the chosen color of dye. When the dyeing process is finally over, you should remove the wax by boiling and fabric is ready to use.

Here are my batik works:

I think this post is interesting to you and see you again.

Thank you very much for reading. bye... bye....👋

 Hello craft lovers...😍

Previously I wrote you the way of making a clay jewelry. Today I brought some new clay jewelries. They are made by using modeling white clay and also heated to 850 C. I used mate colors as well as shiny colors to finish up them.

Here...

I mixed colors together very well because don't like primary colors. I love shaded colors. Always I try to blend them together. 😇 It give a magical natural look.

The cool thing is, the way I present them. I know I do that job very well as always.

Try new things at your home.

Good bye my friends 👋

Thank you for reading my blog posts...

Hey there, Hope you are doing great!

A designer should study and draw thousand sketches to get a good art work.

I inspired with the nature. I took colors, shapes, textures from mushrooms and added some traditional look from both sides to the necklace. I created the design from white clay. I heated to 850 C to harden. Now I have to make a simple coat of glaze.

Clay work:

I hope you enjoyed. See you soon...
