Celebration of Motherhood

Today I'm sharing one of my favorite sculpting projects with you. I named it as,
" CELEBRATION OF MOTHERHOOD "
It displays 'Pregnant Virgin Mother Mary' , who is the mother of Jesus Christ. She is worshiped by Catholics around the world. It's all about 3.5 feet height. I built it up using modeling red clay. I spent a lot of time and effort on this project but at last I was so proud of this final artwork.

- This is the final art work. I displayed it for an art exhibition at BCI campus, Negombo, Sri Lanka.
I have never found anything as interesting as sculpting. So I'm ready to share more of my art works with all of you in the future. Stay tuned.
